Here’s another blog by a Mississauga Chiropactor…

After my disappointing Half Marathon in Oakville, I had 2 solid speed workouts this week.  Tuesday’s Dance Studio tempo run went well.  This week, I decided to run at just under Marathon Pace for the 3.2k loop.  I maintained this pace and finished strong.  Wednesday’s tack workout at Iroquois high school in Oakville was also positive.  I completed 6 X 400m intervals by myself, and then teamed up with Sean & Manny to do 4 X 800m intervals.

At the track, coach Gord Dickson brought a couple of his Kenyan runners (Thomas & Michael).  Thomas had just raced the Montreal Marathon on the weekend and finished 2nd with an impressive time of 2:14.  They were doing a recovery workout on the track along with the rest of my Nomads Running club members.

Overall I had a solid workout, with some local celebrity Kenyan runners.  My Chicago Marathon is less than 2 weeks away.  Happy Running!
