Here’s another blog by a Mississauga Chiropactor…
I just watched the much anticipated Season 9- Premiere of Two and a Half Men, which was airing without Charlie Sheen who departed from the series last year. Ashton Kutcher was brought in to fill the void left by Sheen`s character Charlie Harper. The season premiere revealed the details of Charlie’s gruesome death, and introduced Kutcher`s character as billionaire Walden Schmidt.
I was a fan of Kutcher`s work as Kelso on That `70s Show and loved his crazy antics on Punk`d. I wasn`t too impressed with his debut on Two and a Half Men though. His monotone deliveries were accompanied by a `laugh track` which was supposed to cue viewers to laugh, however I didn`t find myself cracking a smile. He seemed more annoying than funny. Jon Cryer`s portrayal of chiro Alan Harper did make me chuckle a few times…. And I`m not just saying that because I`m a fellow chiropractor.
Overall, I`d give the premiere a low 3/10… Apparently a whopping 27.7 million viewers tuned in to watch it, so you can check it out if you want. Happy Viewing!
