In this movie, a horrific car accident puts Paige Collins (Rachel McAdams) in a coma, and when she wakes up with severe memory loss, the only thing she remembers is the life she had before she met her husband. Paige doesn’t recognize her husband Leo (Channing Tatum), and she starts to miss her life with her mom Rita (Jessica Lange), dad Bill (Sam Neill), sister Gwen (Jessica McNamee)& ex-fiance Jeremy (Scott Speedman). Leo works to win Paige’s heart, and tries to make her fall in love with him again. After several romantic trials, they end up having to start their relationship a new.
Initially, I was excited about this movie because it was billed as the next Notebook. However after it’s first week in the theatres, the critics gave it pretty bad reviews. So going into this movie, I wasn’t expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I was drawn into the movie. I was rooting for Leo the entire time, and I kept waiting for Paige to finally fall back in love with him. The ending to the movie was a bit disappointing, but this movie was based on a true story, and I guess they can’t re-write history.
Overall I’d give this movie a tearful 7/10 stars. It’s a movie that’s definitely worth checking out. Happy Viewing!
