Here’s another Blog from a Mississauga Chiropractor…
John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg) makes a childhood Christmas wish and miraculously his teddy bear, Ted (Seth MacFarlane) comes to life. The two grow up together and are by each others side constantly. John must then choose to stay with his girlfriend of four years, Lori (Mila Kunis) or keep his friendship with his crude and extremely inappropriate teddy bear, Ted.
This movie had some pretty laugh-out-loud scenes however most of them were pretty inappropriate. I guess the fact that everyone else in the theatre was laughing, made the jokes okay. Seth MacFarlane was hilarious as Ted. Most of his lines did sound like Peter Griffin was delivering the jokes, but that was okay. The movie itself reminded me a lot of The Family Guy. There were many cut scenes to random jokes just like the cartoon. Mark Wahlberg played the same naïve character he portrayed in Boogie Nights, which is quite refreshing compared to the typical tough guys he plays in most of his action flicks. Mila Kunis was also great as Lori the girl friend.
Overall, I`d give this movie 7/10 stars. Check it out. Happy Viewing!
