Dr. Gerald Dumol, BPHE, DC recieved his undergraduate education from the University of Toronto, where he earned a Bachelor of Physical & Health Education degree. In his 4th year of study, he worked as a team trainer for the University of Toronto Men’s Varsity Blues Basketball Team.
He continued his education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) in 2009. Dr. Dumol is a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA), the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA), the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO) and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA)
Dr. Dumol emphasizes a dynamic approach to patient care, through education, communication and proper rehabilitative exercise prescription. “When patients understand why their complaints are occurring, it empowers them to make the necessary changes to correct their problems.”
As a licensed chiropractor, Dr. Dumol believes in treating the source of the problem rather than the symptoms alone. To achieve this goal, he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of conditions and disorders relating to the skeletal, nervous, and muscular systems.
Dr. Dumol has 9 years of hands-on experience at the Behaviour Institute working as a behavioural therapist with children with Autism. He ran ABA programming with the children and helped them gain many vital lifeskills.
Lastly, Dr. Dumol is currently an avid marathon runner. He runs & cross trains 6 days a week when he is not treating patients. Formerly, Dr. Dumol was also a high school & recreational athlete (football, basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis).
