Here’s another Blog from a Mississauga Chiropractor…
On Monday February 25th, 2013, our last day in New Orleans, Maria and I wandered into Stanley`s Restaurant, located at 547 Saint Ann Street in New Orleans, Louisiana, conveniently situated on the historic Jackson Square.
The view from Stanley’s provincial yet elegant dining room provides a beautiful backdrop of the St. Louis Cathedral and downtown New Orleans. With all day breakfast and brunch, delicious sandwiches, a soda fountain, house-made ice cream desserts, and The Stanley Burger there’s something guaranteed to please anyone’s tastes in this charming French Quarter locale.
Chef Scott Boswell is the owner and executive chef of Stella. At Stanley, Chef Boswell serves classic New Orleans comfort food with a unique twist. This is the food that Chef Boswell not only loves to cook, but also loves to enjoy himself.
Maria was dying to try a banana foster dessert on our Trip, but we had yet to find it. So when we saw that Stanley served this popular New Orleans dish, we went right in. Maria got the Banana Foster French Toast (Battered French Bread, Sliced Bananas, Tahitian Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, and Toasted Walnuts with Foster Sauce).
I got the Pepperoni Pizza Caesar Salad Poor Boy (French Bread Pizza with Pepperoni, Provolone and Mozzarella Cheeses, Basil Pesto, Romaine Lettuce And House Made Spicy Chipotle Caesar Dressing). Both dishes were quite delicious.
Overall, I would give our experience at Stanley`s 9/10 stars. This is definitely a restaurant to visit. Just another day in the life of a Mississauga Chiropractor…
