Here’s another blog from a Chiropractor in Mississauga…
On Sunday May 27, 2012, Maria, myself and the Boys attended the Brampton Rotary Rib ‘n’ Roll at Gage Park in Brampton, ON. The Rotary Club of Brampton is an organization of business and professional leaders who are united worldwide to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
When we arrived at the Rib ‘n’ Roll, Tristan was immediately drawn in by all the rides. These rides were similar to the rides that you would normally see at the CNE, but smaller scale. He started to head towards the first ride, when we called him back and told him that he needed to get some tickets first.
As we looked for the ticket booth, both our boys were drawn toward the ice cream trucks (and they forgot about the rides… thank goodness). Tristan got a Spiderman Popsicle and Mason got a Sponge Bob Square Pants Popsicle.
Next we watched Captain Corbin the Pirate entertain the kids with a Pirate Show. He was doing magic tricks and telling jokes which made all the kids and parents laugh. The boys were having a great time listening to Captain Corbin’s stories and watching his pirate antics.
We didn’t actually get ribs that afternoon, but Tristan and Maria did get a hotdog, while I tried the roast beef sandwich. Maria also got a Tornado Potato, which was a potato on a skewer that was cut in a spiral formation, and deep fried to make it crunchy. Tristan and I probably ate more of that snack than Maria.
Overall, we had a great time at the Rotary Rib ‘n’ Roll. Great live music, great food and great entertainment… We’ll be looking forward to next year’s event. Just another day in the life of a Mississauga Chiropractor.
