Here’s another blog from a Chiropractor in Mississauga
Saturday May 26th, 2012 was our monthly Dynamic Wellness 3K Prediction Run. Each runner had to predict how fast they could finish the 3 km out & back course and the winner was not the fastest person to finish, but the person whose predicted time was closest to their actual finishing time.
Entry fee was $5 where the winner was to receive half the money collected, while the other half of the money was going to be donated to the Arthritis Society.
23 runners started out at 10:30amin the beautiful yet hot & muggy morning. This month’s winner was Natalie McKenzie with a time difference of 1 second. She set the record for the lowest time difference for a female competitor. There was a 2-way tie for second place with Zofia Cwir & Maria Domanowska both predicting within a 6 second difference of their actual time.
Janette Strong from the ASEA spoke to the competitors during the post event festivities. She talked about the benefits of her product and how it can benefit many types of athletes.
Refreshments were served after the event and complimentary 10 minute sports massages by chiropractor – Dr. Jennifer McAnsh was also offered for the runners.
Join us for our next prediction run which is scheduled for Saturday June 23rd, 2012.
