Here’s another Blog by a Mississauga Chiropractor….

When we were in Dallas for my OTZ Frozen Shoulder seminar, Maria & I visited Maggiano’s Italian American Cuisine.   We had eaten here before, when we were in Boston, the day before the Boston Marathon.  However on that evening, my main purpose was to get a carbo-filled bowl of spaghetti.  This time, I had the opportunity to explore Maggiano’s vast menu.

Maria and I chose the Dinner-for-2 special.  This consisted of one appetizer, one choice each from the classic pasta menu, one dessert & two complimentary secondary take-home choices of the classic pasta menu… for only $39.99.

Maria and I were shocked by the complimentary take-home dishes which ended up being the size of an actual dish.  For our appetizer we chose the Italian Sausage Flat bread (Italian sausage, oven-dried tomatoes, Italian cheese blend, fresh mozzarella and basil).  Maria ordered Mom`s Lasagna-Meat Sauce (Pasta sheets layered with ricotta cheese, crumbled meatballs, Italian sausage and marinara. Topped with provolone cheese and marinara) & I had the Taylor Street Baked Ziti (Italian sausage, pomodoro sauce and ziti topped with a layer of melted Provolone and Parmesan).  Maria had the Cheese Cake for dessert.  Our complimentary take-home choices was another Lasagna and a Eggplant Parmesan dish (Sliced eggplant, breaded and fried, layered with Provolone cheese and marinara sauce).

Overall, it was a great meal. I would give Maggiano’s 8/10 stars… Even better than Olive Gardens (which we like as well).  Just another day in the life of a Mississauga Chiropractor.
