Just watched Madagascar 3: Europe`s Most Wanted (2012), staring Ben Stiller (Zoolander), Jada Pinkett (The Matrix Reloaded), Chris Rock (Everybody Hates Chris), David Schwimmer (Friends) & Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat).

Alex the Lion (Ben Stiller), Marty the Zebra (Chris Rock), Gloria the hippo (Jada Pinkett Smith) and Melman the giraffe (David Schwimmer) are still trying to get back to the Big Apple and their beloved Central Park zoo, but first they need to find the penguins.  When they travel to Monte Carlo, they attract the attention of Animal Control after gate crashing a party and are joined by the penguins, King Julian (Sacha Baron Cohen) and Co., and the monkeys.  How do a lion, zebra, hippo, giraffe, four penguins, two monkeys, three lemurs travel through Europe without attracting attention and get back to New York?  They join a traveling circus, teaming up with Gia the leopard (Jessica Chastain), Vitaly the Tiger (Bryan Cranston) and Stefano the sea lion (Martin Short).  Their attempts to get back to New York are consistently hampered by the Captain Chantel DuBois (Frances McDormand) who wants to make Alex part of her collection.  Once they make it back to New York Marty, Alex, Gloria and Melman realize that they want to be part of the traveling circus.

This third edition of Madagascar was my favourite so far, which is unusually for movie sequel.  The humor was quite witty and the pacing was nice and quick.  The theatre was laughing through the entire film.  The new circus animal characters were excellent editions to the group.

Overall, I would give this film 8.5/10 stars.  Definitely check it out for kids and adults alike.  Happy Viewing!!!
