At Hotel Transylvania is Dracula’s lavish five-stake resort, where monsters and their families can live it up, free to be the monsters they are without humans to bother them. On one special weekend, Dracula (Adam Sandler) has invited some of the world’s most famous monsters – Frankenstein (Kevin James)and his wife, Murray the Mummy (CeeLo Green), Quasimodo (Jon Lovitz) the Invisible Man (David Spade), Wayne (Steve Buscemi), Wanda (Molly Shannon) and their family of werewolves, and more – to celebrate his daughter Mavis’ (Selena Gomez) 118th birthday. For Dracula, catering to all of these legendary monsters is no problem – but his world could come crashing down when a Jonathan (Andy Samberg), a human stumbles on the hotel for the first time and takes a shine to Mavis.
This movie was funny and even catered different demographics. The theatre was packed with little children who mostly laughed at the not really funny parts, while the adults laughed when the children were quite silent. The movie had a pretty predictable story line and tons of characters that you will love. The pacing was pretty upbeat and the action was non-stop.
Overall, I would give this movie 7/10 stars. Check it out! Happy Viewing
