Here’s another Blog by a Mississauga Chiropractor….
When we were in Dallas for my OTZ Frozen Shoulder seminar, Maria & I visited The Grand Lux Café. The fancy ‘Alice in Wonderland’ type décor caught our eye as we were looking for a place to have lunch while gallivanting around the Galleria Mall.
When we asked the waitress about the history of the Grand Lux Café, she told us there are a few branches scattered around theUnited States. This franchise is a sister restaurant of the Cheese Cake Factory, which explained the similar décor.
We shared the Grand Fried Calamari (fried rock shrimp, zucchini and onions, served with dipping sauces) for our appetizer. Maria opted for the Banana-Pecan-Strawberry Pancakes (buttermilk pancakes topped with sauteed bananas, pecans and warm brown sugar butter) for her meal (a fun lunch/dessert). I chose the artery-clogging Max Burger (chop house burger topped with cheddar cheese, crisp bacon, sauteed mushrooms, onions and roasted short ribs, served with french fries).
Overall, both our meals were quite good. Definitely recommend trying this restaurant. I’d give it an 8/10 stars. Just another day in the life of a Mississauga Chiropractor
