Here’s another blog by a Mississauga Chiropactor…
Saturday September 24, 2011 was our monthly Dynamic Wellness 3K Prediction Run. Each runner had to predict how fast they could finish the 3 km out & back course and the winner was not the fastest person to finish, but the person whose predicted time was closest to their actual finishing time.
Entry fee was $5 where the winner was to receive half the money collected, while the other half of the money was going to be donated to the Arthritis Society.
17 runners from Mississauga and Toronto started out at 10:30am in the beautiful fall weather. The winner was Andrew Ross with a time difference of only 1 second. Andrew generously donated his winnings to the Arthritis Society. Jennifer Raven came in 2 place with at time difference of 3 seconds, while Brian Campbell was 3 with a time difference of 4 seconds.
Lorne Catrambone from the Arthritis Society spoke to the competitors during the post event festivities. She was thankful for the generous donation and educated everyone on the prevalence of Arthritis in our community, and the different programs the Arthritis Society offers.
Refreshments were served after the event and complimentary 10 minute massages by RMT – Leslie LaRue were also offered for the runners.
