Here’s another Blog by a Mississauga Chiropractor….
As I walked in I was greeted by 4 other women who were part of the regular morning group. Apparently the evening groups get around 15-20 participants. Korey Frostad, one of the instructors greeted me and told me that he would be joining me for the workout. Leanne Swensson, another CardioCore instructor was going to lead the group.
We started off with a warm-up jog around the gym, “perfect” I thought. “This was right up my alley”. Then we started the first circuit of cardio exercises. Leanne had us lunging and squatting, and doing planks and burpees and push-ups. I was able to keep up with the group, but my heart was really working. After we went through the circuit twice, we were able to take a water break before the real work began. Next was a 25 minute circuit of about 8 different exercises. We basically had to go through this circuit twice. I am proud to say that Susanne (one of the regulars) and I were the only ones to finish the circuit twice with time to spare. However, my legs felt like Jello. Next, I was happy to finally hear that it was time for stretches. The lights dimmed down, and we went through a routine of stretches for the last 10 minutes of class.
Overall, I had a great workout with CardioCore Fitness. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to get a great calorie burn. TheMississauga location offers workout classes every Monday, Wednesday & Friday in the mornings from6am-7am and in the evenings from6:30pm-7:30pm. Definitely check it out… Just another day in the life of a Mississauga Chiropractor.
