Here’s another blog by a Mississauga Chiropractor…
This past weekend was the Acura 10 Miler which took place at the Distillery District in Toronto with a record 2,100 runners participating. The race was headlined by Canadian Marathon Olympian Reid Coolsaet who defended his win at the same race last year with a time of 48:34. His Guelph Speed River team mate Eric Gillis was a close second at 49:01.
Also making a memorable cameo was Cat in the Hat greats Thing 1 & Thing 2. The Things stole the show once again, earning cheers from the volunteers and spectators as they made their way across the Lakeshore and through Tommy Thompson Park, then back to the Distillery District. In the warm and humid 23 degree Celsius weather, the Things in their matching Blue Wigs and Red Shirts were greeted along the course by many other runners offering smiles & high fives.
After the race the Things were treated to Toronto’s best Gelatos at the Distillery. Much better than the bagels & bananas the other racers were feasting on.
