Here’s another blog by a Mississauga Chiropactor…
This past Saturday we took the boys to Canada’s Wonderland. We have the season’s pass so this was my 3rd visit, and the Maria & the Boys’ 4th. Last year we took better advantage of our passes, going a total of 10 times… I guess we had more time on our hands when Maria was on maternity leave, and my clinic was still under construction.
When we entered Wonderland, we headed straight to the Measuring Wall to see if Tristan had grown taller this summer. Every year we take a photo of Tristan by the wall to see his growth. At the beginning of the summer, Tristan was in the Red Zone… But on this day he was just over the Purple Line…. This meant more “big people rides”.

His first big ride was “Swing of the Century” with Maria. Tristan was hesitant at first, but he loved it at the end. He wanted to ride the next “big person” ride with me, so I took him to “The Bat”… I told him it was a Batman ride, so he was excited about that. We waited in line for a few minutes, and then I pointed up to show him one of the coaster that was ready to fall. He seemed excited as he watched the coaster zoom down and loop around. However, when he saw “The Bat” start moving backwards, that’s when his excitement faded. He turned to me with a scared look on his face, “Maybe not dad”. I asked him if he wanted to turn back, and he nodded his head, “yes”.
A look of relief came over his face as we left “The Bat” and headed toward “Boo Blasters” – the old “Scooby Doo Ride”. Mason on the other hand was having fun in Planet Snoopy riding the Carousel and various other kiddie rides.
We ended the Wonderland adventure with Tristan’s customary foot long hot dogs. He gobbled that down in just a few minutes… Just another day in the Life of a Mississauga Chiropractor.
